Most courses are presented at training facilities, which are located at the branches in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban. For convenience, training can also be conducted at the client's premises."

Short says that all of Elvey's instructors are qualified to tutor the various courses offered by Elvey International in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Offering an excellent blend of classroom theory and hands-on practical training, the programme is claimed to provide technicians with the fundamental skills to install, commission and maintain 'state of the art' alarm systems.
