Primary Image's elite outdoor video motion detector, VideoTracker, is being used to protect the Tsar of Russia's precious crown jewels, held within a Moscow Bullion centre, in the former Soviet Union. Eight cameras have been connected to VideoTracker units, for monitoring the perimeter grounds for intruders.
The sale was made through Chelmsford (UK) based Security Management Services and security staff at the Bullion are reportedly delighted with the VideoTracker units. Barry King, Managing Director of SMS said, "We chose to install VideoTracker, as outdoor motion detection can be a real problem, but VideoTracker's exceptionally low false alarm rate ensures that nuisance alarms are a thing of the past."
Developed specifically for use in high security outdoor applications, VideoTracker is able to discriminate between movement such as moving trees, rain, camera shake and genuine alarm situations. Its low false alarm rate, zone masking and alarm output features makes it perfect for applications where immediate intrusion detection is key.
