Furniture gives businss kick-start

Security solutions company, Securicor KZN have made a donation of office furniture to the Thekwini Business Development Centre.

"Most new businesses do not have the financial backing to purchase all the necessary elements to run an office or a business effectively from day one," says Mike Bennett, Securicor KZN's general manager. "This is our small contribution to assist in providing small local enterprises with a kick-start.

Our core business is that of providing companies with tailor-made security solutions; by giving this furniture we were able to provide a solution of another kind - a business solution."

Chief executive officer of the centre, Protas Madlala adds, "donations of this nature really go a long way to assist in giving newcomers a head-start which is one of the main objectives of the centre."
