Lockheed Martin has been awarded a one-year, $3 million contract to install and maintain a Pentagon physical security system designed to protect classified information and other assets within the building and other facilities in the national capital region.
The Intrusion Detection and Alarm System (IDAS) secures facilities in and around the Pentagon that house vital, highly-classified Department of Defense information.
Lockheed Martin has more than 30 years of experience providing federal government security solutions for access control, surveillance, and explosive detection. Customers include the US Capitol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, as well as numerous military bases, ports, civil government buildings, airports and hospitals.
