Kalatel's new Calibur Ethernet-ready digital video multiplexer recorder (DVMRe) Triplex allows users to view both live and playback images while continuing to record images from all connected cameras. Users operate the new Triplex DVMRe with VCR-like front-panel controls, including a jog-shuttle dial.
The DVMRe Triplex records high-resolution pictures to its built-in 40, 80 or 160 GB hard drive. This wide variety of options for storage capacity allows users to store from a few hours to over three years of colour images.
Users can select what, when and how much to record as well as the number of pictures per second (pps) or seconds per picture (spp), which is suitable for time-lapse recording, event recording, including activity/motion and ATM/POS transactions, and alarm recording.
