The TM7series biometric fingerprint and proximity readers from Third Millennium are designed to provide flexible solutions for enhanced security.

The enrolment, verification and database management functions are contained in one maintenance-free assembly.

Storage and management of this information is flexible and as the TM7 can store the information in its own memory or on a smart contactless proximity card.

When the user presents their proximity card the TM7 recalls the stored fingerprint information and compares it with their finger. If the fingerprint information and finger match, the TM7 sends the card number to the access control system.

TM7 fingerprint readers can be networked using RS485 to offer automatic configuration and synchronisation of the readers' databases.
