Ultrak has expanded its range of UltraDome cameras with the release of a new KD6 model, capable of operating in extreme environmental conditions.
The 9" KD6-NP Nitrogen Pressurised dome uses two independent 'O'-rings, to provide a secure seal for its top and bottom housing. Along with a thermostatically controlled 24 V a.c. heater and blower, fitted as standard, the stable operating environment provided for the camera, zoom lens and drive mechanism, protects the device against the ingress of rain, snow, smog, salty air, humidity and many other corrosive elements.
The KD6-NP's standard features include 360° continuous rotation, variable pan speed up to 400°/s, 100 programmable pre-shots, 10 programmable guard tours, and four on-board alarm inputs. The KD6-NP dome is available with pendant, wall, and roof mounts, and with a choice of either a clear, or smoked finish lower dome.
