Resembling many popular models of smoke detectors, the GBC by Kalatel smoke detector camera is inconspicuous and will discreetly monitor an entire room from one location. A single side-viewing camera plus up to three optional side-viewing cameras will provide nearly 360° of coverage. In addition, a down-viewing camera can be added for covering the rest of the room.
The black-and-white version cameras are available with 2,5, 4 and 6 mm lenses. The colour version camera uses a 4 mm lens. Each side-viewing camera can be rotated and tilted during installation. The smoke detector's black-and-white camera delivers a resolution of 425 TV lines and light sensitivity of 0,1 lux. The colour camera delivers a resolution of 380 TV lines and light sensitivity of 1 lux.
The smoke detector camera features a high-speed electronic shutter that compensates for changing lighting conditions, from bright sunlight to dim outdoor lighting. It also provides a backlight compensation circuit that prevents foreground objects from becoming silhouetted against bright backgrounds. The camera includes a plug-in power supply and easy-connect leads for simple installation.
