Software development company, Trac-Ware has announced Version 1.5 of Tag-Trac, the company's active RFID (Radio Frequency ID) access control, personnel, asset and building management system. The Tag-Trac system architecture is a multitiered, multithreaded distributed network designed for use over LANs, WANs or a GAN to manage buildings, their assets and their staff.
The database server (DBS) provides the system with rules to follow and information on which to act and is able to handle well over a million transactions per minute.
The seamless integration of various types of hardware into the system and the systems ability to create complex transactions based on the various types of connected hardware will allow users to monitor and control assets, people and anything else of value, as well as automate buildings.
