Elvey international introduces all new Links 1000 GSM cellular network alarm transmitter.

October 99 Surveillance

Sur-Gard Communications, the manufacturers of the world's number one digital telephone line receiver, has introduced the all new Links 1000 GSM cellular network alarm transmitter. The GSM 1000 alarm transmitter enhances the protection provided by a security system by providing a reliable backup to the control panel's normal telephone line communications with the monitoring station.

If the control panel is unable to complete an alarm transmission through the normal telephone due to any line problems, the GSM1000 will be activated and will transmit the alarm communication over the GSM network.

The GSM 1000 works with the following DSC control panels:

p DSC Power 832 - PC 5010: ver 1.0 +, PC 5015: ver 2.0 +.

p DSC Power 608 - PC 5008: ver 2.0 +.

p Maxsys - PC 4010: ver 1.0+, PC 4020: ver 1.0+, PC 4020KT: ver 1.0+.

p New Classic - PC 1565: ver 2.0+, PC 1580: ver 1.0 +.
