VisionLine, a division of Elvey Security Technology, recently announced the release of the new ProxNet 4000 and 6000 series access control systems. The successful ProxNet series includes a spectrum of new features.
With up to 4000 card holders, 64 access levels, 64 areas and 254 readers, the product is suitable for most access control requirements. The ProxNet 6000 is well suited for installations requiring less proximity readers but more cardholders. With up to 6000 cardholders, 16 access levels, 16 areas and 20 readers this could be used for suburban area control or similar applications.
Other key ProxNet features include intelligent readers, which only require one controller per system. The system incorporates, nonvolatile memory, eight time zones, three levels of anti-passback (hard, soft and timed), event up/down counters and optional Windows 95\98\NT\2000 software.
Other new ProxNet optional components include:
* Mini grey proximity tags with a 50 mm read range.
* Proximity ID half shell card; 2 mm thick.
* ProxNet remote reader head.
* ProxNet 26 bit Weigand interface.
* ProxNet time display reader for time and attendance applications.
* ProxNet extended range reader up to 600 mm.
* ProxNet random search generator.
