Local manufacturer of access control products, Boomgate Systems has enjoyed substantial business growth over the past few months. For example, the company has supplied high security spike barriers for installation at Baragwanath Hospital, one of the busiest hospitals in South Africa.
Furthermore, following its visit to IFSEC in the UK earlier this year, the company's export market has grown, adding four new countries to its existing export market. These countries are the Ukraine, UK, Angola and Tanzania.
New product range
BoomGate Systems has also added four new products to its product range, viz:
* High security goods turnstile. This is an application to move items from an insecure area to a secure area, eg a cash box from the outside of a bank to the inside of the bank.
* New manual barrier without counterweight.
* Pedestrian barrier suitable for access control in up-market office blocks. Units are supplied in various finishes from rosewood, marble or brushed stainless steel.
* Vandal-proof pushbutton with no moving parts, suitable for opening doors, barriers, turnstiles and guardhouse control panels, etc.
