TeqTrader has acquired Intertrade in Port Elizabeth and the East London branch of Comsec, part of QD Electronics, a division of Unihold. Dave Fraser, Eastern Cape Regional Manager, will head the new operation.
Frank Fowles comments, "We have purchased a healthy business in Intertrade but, more importantly, we have acquired the skills of the Fraser family, and in doing so, we are assured the absolute dominance of the Eastern Cape security market."
Furthermore, Estelle Larsen has been appointed as Branch Supervisor for the company's TeqTrader East London Branch, with Paul Griffin being appointed as Systems Specialist.
In addition, the company has announced that that it has purchased all FBII stock previously held by Comsec.
The transaction, worth over R6m, gives TeqTrader complete control of FBII product marketing in southern Africa. TeqTrader will honour all warranties on FBII equipment on a swop-out basis, from any of its six branches countrywide.
