Unisys tackles security crisis with managed service

Unisys Africa has added security management to its e-@ction range of managed services. The service, based on that which has already attracted the business of more than 100 clients in the US in the last nine months, mainly in the financial sector, is designed to remove the uncertainty that plagues and hampers on-line business, and to ensure corporate clients can get on with their business safe in the knowledge that their systems will not be compromised.

Geoff Tuck, Sales Director, Global Network Services at Unisys Africa, says the service has been developed based on Unisys' decades of understanding and experience of how to design and keep mission-critical systems running and secure.

Unisys' security management offering is centred on intrusion detection, with integrated firewall and remote monitoring and management services designed specifically for e-business and networked environments.
