Vivotek is launching the world’s smallest network-based fixed dome camera, FD8136, at a size of 90 mm in diameter with an installation time of less than 120 seconds. Equipped with a 1-Megapixel sensor enabling viewing resolution of 1280x800 at 30 fps, Vivotek FD8136 supports the industry-standard H.264 compression technology, which reduces file sizes and conserves valuable network bandwidth. MPEG-4 and MJPEG compatibility enables the user to transmit video streams in any of these formats for versatile applications. The FD8136 also comes with selectable focal lengths suitable for various environments, including but not limited to: offices, elevators, campus, chain stores, boutique stores and health care facilities.
