Sensormatic announces new Executive Vice President

Sensormatic Electronics Corporation recently appointed Thomas R. Metz to the position of Executive Vice President of its Americas business unit.

As Executive Vice President of the Americas, which encompasses North and South America including the Caribbean basin, Metz will be responsible for all operations of the business unit including direct and indirect sales of the company's anti-theft, video, access control and automated supply chain management solutions. The Americas business unit represents more than 60% of the company's overall revenues.
