Option Wireless Technology, represented locally by Otto Wireless Solutions, has launched the vIU².
The vIU² is a white-goods indoor security camera capable of streaming high quality live audio and video to your smartphone from anywhere to anywhere. The unit features a battery back-up, allowing for up to 2-hours of streaming. Low battery level notification is also provided.
Whenever the vIU² detects sound or movement, you will be the first to know, and you can immediately examine what is happening. It is provided with a flexible wall and desk-mount bracket, and has two USB 2.0 ports, a SD memory card holder and supports low light conditions down to 0,01 Lux.
The built in camera (640 x 480 VGA @ 30fps) provides video stream output, H.264 176 x 144 (QCIF) up to 352 x 288 (CIF) for cellphones, with the final frame rate being dependent on the available bandwidth available from the GSM provider. In reach of any mobile network, you just need to plug in a power cable, install the app, and scan your QR code to become a qualified vIU² user.
