Suprema has introduced the Xpass Slim, an IP based RF reader/controller with a slim design and rugged IP65-rated waterproof structure. This multi-smartcard reader sports various network interfaces and built-in controller functions.
Xpass Slim’s multi-smartcard reading feature reads various smartcard standards, including 13,56 MHz ISO14443A/B, ISO15693, Mifare(CSN), Inside(CSN) and Felica(IDM). On the network side, Xpass Slim provides TCP/IP (or RS485) interface, Wiegand and an internal relay for direct lock interface, delivering cost savings in installation and maintenance by using existing networks.
It features a 3D triangular design, multi-colour LED indicator and an extra slim profile of 12 mm. Measuring 80 mm in height and 120 mm in width, Xpass Slim will fit into a standard gang (junction) box, providing for easier installation. In addition, it is fully compatible with BioStar, Suprema’s IP-based access control management software.
