Ansul is further extending its 9-year relationship with Red G Distributors.
Ansul Inergen was the first clean agent gas developed to extinguish fire by reducing the oxygen concentration in a hazard area to below 15% at which point most fires are extinguished, at the same time being safe for humans to breathe.
Ansul Inergen is supplied in 200 Bar cylinders which can be combined together to cover any size of hazard. Ansul Inergen has to be released into a sealed area to ensure the concentration of the gas can be maintained for a minimum of 10 minutes in accordance with international and local standards.
Inergen boasts zero ozone depletion potential, zero global warming potential, and zero atmospheric lifetime. Its component gasses are sourced from the air we breathe and can therefore have no negative environmental impact when released. It is also free of residues and corrosive by-products that may produce further property damage.
A 354 cylinder installation was completed for a telecom facility in Cape Town last year and successfully tested in a live environment by Chimera Fire Consultants.
