Turnstar has launched a new range of high-end prestige revolving doors to complement its existing range of physical access control products. The main purpose of a revolving door is to provide unhindered easy access into a building without allowing air to escape or enter the building, which means less money spent on air conditioning and heating costs. The new Atlas manual revolving door range combines aesthetics and reliability all in one revolving door. The Atlas manual revolving door is available in diameters of 1,6 m up to 3 m and can be manufactured in either 3-wing or 4-wing configuration.
The frame of the revolving door is manufactured from either powder coated mild steel, 304 or 316 grade brushed stainless steel. 8 mm curved toughened glass is used for the outside frame and 12 mm flat toughened glass is used for the glass wings. The glass wings are also fitted with polypropylene brushes to prevent air flow. The revolving door is supplied standard with a night lock and incorporates a heavy-duty safety speed controller in order to prevent the door from over speeding.
