The I-Net intelligent door controller (IDC) by Controlsoft provides a single board solution for interfacing one or two doors to a Controlsoft Lite or Professional system. In addition, other I-Net Intelligent Door Controllers, Reader Expansion Boards and I/O Expansion Boards can be added on the I-Net IDC’s downstream RS485 ports to expand its capabilities.
The I-Net IDC allows Ethernet connectivity directly from a door location to the Controlsoft Software Server, while still providing the security, functionality and modularity of Controlsoft’s hardware platform. The I-Net IDC is scaleable for any access control application, from the most basic to the most sophisticated. In the event of communication loss, the I-Net IDC allows all local functionality to continue unimpaired until the server connection is restored.
The I-Net IDC can communicate upstream to the Controlsoft Lite or Professional Server PC through its Ethernet port, or wireless (802.11g) through its USB port.
