Centurion Systems’ new CLAWS automated roadway spikes system offer a new dimension in secure vehicle access control. CLAWS come in two different types of concepts: Flush Mount or Surface Mount. The Flush Mount variety is installed flush with the road surface whereas the Surface Mount CLAWS are mounted on top of the roadway creating an integrated speed bump.
Both the models are available in either Direct Drive which utilises the SECTOR traffic barrier’s drive mechanism, or Independent Drive models which have their own drive mechanisms. They all have a modular construction which allows for components to be transported and installed with ease, and can be assembled in any length made up of 500 mm or 1000 mm modules.
