Elvey has released the DH-DVR3204LE DVR from Dahua. Comments Zane Greeff technical director at Elvey Security Technologies, “this 32 channel CIF Resolution, real-time standalone DVR is built for medium to large applications, and boasts a 32 channel video input, 16 channel audio input and 1 channel matrix output. The 1st, 9th, 17th, and 25th video channels can support maximum D1 real-time recording image resolution and the remainder of the channels can support CIF real-time recording.”
With H.264 compression on the video recordings and G.711 compression on audio recordings the DH-DVR3204LE is sure to provide good video and audio quality. This DVR comes standard with 500 GB SATA hard drive, and for businesses that wish to record for longer periods of time before the DVR starts to re-write over older recordings, one can add an additional six hard drives onto the DVR, each having the maximum of 2 TB.
On viewing of live or recorded footage, this DVR has a spot monitor output together with composite BNC, VGA and HDMI output for the main display monitor, and can playback 1, 2, 4 or 16 channels. When backing up footage one can use any USB backup device, such as a memory stick, external DVD writer, external hard drive or external CD writer, additional backups can be made to an eSATA device, built-in SATA burner or can be downloaded via the network.
