Further expanding its product range, Network Video Technologies (NVT), has released two new ultra-compact passive transmitter and receiver (transceiver) models, and a new compact 4-channel StubEQUTP Active Receiver Hub.
The new NV-215J-M Single Channel Passive Transceiver features an RJ45 UTP terminal, in addition to a 9-inch mini-coax pigtail with a Male BNC connection. The NV-217J-M Single Channel Passive Transceiver features an RJ45 UTP terminal and Male BNC to allow direct connection to a camera or DVR.
Compatible with today’s DVR and HDVR technology, both the NVT NV-215J-M and NV-217J-M are capable of delivering a fully equalised signal at distances up to 1 km when combined with any NVT DigitalEQTM Active Receiver. They are also compatible with all of NVT’s passive products for applications under 225 m.
Designed to bring NVT StubEQ benefits to installations with smaller camera numbers, the new NVT NV-442 StubEQ Active Receiver Hub transmits real-time camera video at distances up to 460 metres over Cat5 UTP cable, or 600 metres when combined with a NV-653T Active Transmitter.
The new hub’s StubEQ two-band technology continuously and automatically compensates for cable attenuation and ground loops, independent of video signal image – meaning no video equalisation adjustments are necessary. Housed in an ultra-compact 1U x 2-inch deep enclosure, the diminutive 4-channel hub supports RJ45 or screw-terminal connectivity, is UL and cUL listed, compliant with CE, RoHS and WEEE, and as with all NVT products, is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
