New SafeQuip branch opens in Port Elizabeth

February 2011 News & Events

Fire equipment manufacturer and supplier, SafeQuip, has opened a new branch in Port Elizabeth. The Rovic international subsidiary has seen a marked increase in demand for its fire extinguishers and fire hose reels from the fire trade and business. The company has decided to service the Eastern Cape area directly from its new outlet in 33 Willow Rd, Unit 3 Willow Business Park, Lorraine.

SafeQuip MD, Jan Fritz said: “We felt that the Eastern Cape province needed a reliable and reputable supplier. It makes good business sense to make our products and services available though a physical presence in Port Elizabeth.”

Fire companies and fire service technicians are invited to make contact with SafeQuip’s new branch. This will give the trade the opportunity to be listed as a preferred installer and benefit from SafeQuip’s referral system.

All of the company products are SABS approved and its DCP powders are tested by the SABS and by an independent laboratory. SafeQuip supplies wholesale to the fire trade and offers advice on fire detection and suppression solutions to the fire-fighting industry.

The new PE branch holds a full complement of branch pipes, fire hose nozzles, CO2 and DCP fire extinguishers, fire cabinets, fire hoses and reels as well as the internationally recognised AWG range of fire-fighting equipment. SafeQuip also supplies the home fire safety kit, small racing colour extinguishers for small fires in the domestic arena, as well as the more technical fire detection and suppression systems such as Fire De Tec. SafeQuip now has a fire blog where industry news and fire occurrences are posted daily: www.safequip.co.za/blog

Also available on the SafeQuip website is a fire safety manual which is downloadable free of charge.
