Already having installed the fire detection system at Vodaworld and the fire detection and gas extinguishing system for that company's corporate park office, Sensor Technologies has been awarded the contract for the supply and installation of a fire detection system and gaseous extinguishing system for Vodacom's New Service Provider building and Customer Care building at its Midrand Campus.
The project was awarded by consulting engineers Chorn Kirtland and Riccardi. A project value estimated a R1,5m will consist of an Aritech analog addressable system connected to over 1000 Apollo fire detectors and line devices.
This project follows several successful installations for Vodacom by Sensor Technologies, including Germiston MSC, Centurion MSC and Alberton MSC.
