The E-MBE01 multifunction/multiband receiver is an advanced video/audio wireless receiver that combines a host of functions into one compact unit. It is ideally suited for people performing covert observations in the field or as a test instrument in a lab.
Housed in an aluminium brick-sized enclosure, the unit features a 2,5" thin film transistor (TFT) LCD display and adjustable frequency dial and display. One is able to tune the unit to receive signals from 1,2 up to 2,6 GHz, making it useful in applications where different transmitter frequencies are being used. The unit includes a picture analyser. Thus, when motion is noticed on the received signal, the unit gives a trigger out to activate a time lapse recorder.
The dual-antenna input allows switching between two different antennas, for example an omni-directional mounted on a vehicle and a directional antenna held by hand. The integrated pre-amplifier helps to enhance video received and is adjustable from 0 through 45 dB. Ideal as a standalone covert monitoring basestation, the E-MBE01 features a built-in video display, audio speaker, rechargeable battery and video/audio output for a recorder.
