UTC Fire & Security’s GE Nav v3.1 represents the latest advancement in its DVR/NVR management software. The application delivers centralised and remote video management capabilities combined with backward compatibility to accommodate legacy and new UTCFS DVRs and NVRs. A licence-free DVR/NVR Management Software, GE Nav v3.1 provides back- and forward compatibility to manage the TruVision line of DVRs, NVRs and legacy DVR, thereby leveraging investments in legacy equipment.
GE Nav v3.1 is well-suited for applications incorporating multiple sites and cameras such as schools, retail stores, geographically dispersed corporations, transportation, entertainment venues, homeland security and public safety. From a single, easy-to-use GUI, administrators can remotely configure users/groups, DVRs/analogue cameras, NVRs/IP cameras and monitor thousands of video surveillance components. A comprehensive permission model per user for live, playback and configuration is now supported – based on user privileges, navigator items can be visualised.
The GE Nav v3.1 can now render Wavelet, WaveJet, MJPEG, MPEG4, and H.264 compression streams simultaneously. It supports WinXP, Vista and Windows 7.
