Motorola expands award winning handset portfolio

Motorola recently launched its smallest, lightest, TETRA (terrestrial trunked radio) handset ever, the MTH500, at CeBIT 2001. The robust MTH500 is the first handset to bring the advantages of SIM card personalisation and key business features from the cellular market to two-way radio users.

Designed to fit comfortably into the hand, the MTH500 incorporates a four-way navigation key and dedicated function buttons. Advanced technological developments such as smart text entry and a large holographic screen plus new cellular styled accessories also feature.

Combining instant 'press to talk' individual and group communications with advanced mobile phone features, the MTH500 also boasts services such as speakerphone, for hands-free usage and conference calls, and Vibracall for more discrete conversations.
