Orange Israel has announced it has integrated SerVision’s newest generation video gateway, the CVG-M, into its 2010 product portfolio. The CVG-M is a compact DVR/video transmitter to offer live remote video monitoring capabilities of homes, or vehicles, and remotely located sites.
The CVG-M is optimised for transmitting quality video over cellular networks. SerVision’s technology will enable Orange customers to check in on family members, or monitor vehicles and vacant properties from their cellphone or laptop while abroad or at work. In addition to offering two channels of live video, the user-friendly CVG-M includes bi-directional audio for two-way communication between family members, and a built-in GPS module for remote vehicle tracking.
SerVision’s portfolio includes a multifunctional range of digital video recorders (DVRs) with video streaming capabilities over cabled, wireless, and cellular IP networks, providing video transmission for cellular networks and bandwidth limited environments using less than 1 Kbps per video feed. Its DVR portfolio has been used for a large range of applications in the defence, security, commercial and transportation sectors.
