Metavation recently installed the CCTV system for Nokuphila pre-primary school. Nokuphila is an initiative of the Love Trust which aims to alleviate poverty through delivery of quality education – starting with pre-school. This is the Love Trust’s first established project in Tembisa.
A property has been purchased on the border of the township and the existing buildings have been renovated so that they are pre-school-appropriate. The first intake of pre-schoolers aged between 3 years and 5 years was on 13 January 2010. Metavation’s efforts, together with Datanet, will help towards the upliftment and early education of these vulnerable children and open up horizons and offer hope for an improved quality of life for them and their families.
