Joining Network Video Technologies’ (NVT) range of UTP hybrid video transmission products is a new range of StubEQ active receiver hubs that combine savings on valuable equipment racking space with NVT’s Digital EQ technology.
The 1U tall 19-inch rack-mount StubEQ active receiver hubs are just 2-inches deep and provide the transmission of realtime camera video at distances up to 600 m using Cat5 UTP cable and an NV-653T active transmitter. Available in 8 (NV-842), 16 (NV-1642) and 32-channel (NV-3242) versions, the new StubEQ hubs continuously and automatically compensate for cable attenuation and ground loops, independent of video signal image – meaning no video equalisation adjustments are necessary, saving valuable installation time and associated costs.
As with all NVT products, the new additions provide interference rejection and ground loop isolation, allow video and low-voltage power to coexist within the same single 4-pair cable, carry a lifetime warranty, and are UL and cUL listed, and CE, RoHS, and WEEE compliant. Each StubEQ hub includes rack-mount hardware and RJ45-to-screw terminal adaptors for easy RJ45 termination.
