DCS has developed a dual path alarm communicator, the DSC TL265GS which is able to communicate alarm signals via Internet and GSM/GPRS.
The technology offers small business owners and households a complete security system that incorporates keypads, sirens, detectors and wireless keys while simultaneously supporting GSM and IP communications. Encrypted with 128-bits AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) on both the IP stream and GPRS data channel, it is one of the most secure alarm communicators on the market today.
Businesses and households are increasingly moving away from traditional phone lines, due to reliability and cost issues and leaning instead towards VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) or mobile phones as an alternative and far more reliable alarm delivery method. This product allows for alarm reporting to be combined through the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), the Internet and GSM/GPRS channels. By using an existing Internet connection and GPRS data channel for the GSM network, it creates a convenient, fail-safe backup for high-speed alarm communications.
