The Hikvision DS-2CD852MF-E 2 megapixel network camera uses high performance DSP technology and the MPEG4 video codec, which makes the product able to deliver high-definition realtime video with enhanced efficiency in data processing. One of the highlights of DS-2CD852MF-E is its progressive scan technology, which enables the product to capture the high-definition panoramic view of moving object in shortest time.

In addition, the DS-2CD852MF-E supports SD card local storage which allows for continual recording when the Ethernet connection is interrupted. Another highlight is its multizone motion detection and sensitive area mask functions. It also supports power over Ethernet and e-PTZ.
