Gray Security Services (North) has made it a hat-trick when it was named national Old Mutual & Business Partners Enterprise of the Year for outstanding service.
After winning the first two legs of the competition at a local and regional level, Gray went on to clinch the national title in the open category. The award was made after a gruelling national adjudication process, which rated entrants on client service standards, human resource policies, community involvement and management philosophy.
Faan du Toit, MD of Gray Security Services (North) says, “At Gray successful business is built on successful people. This award motivates us to maintain focus on providing growth opportunities for our most valuable asset, our employees.” He also dedicated the award to the company’s clients. “Without their loyalty and support such an achievement would not be possible.”
Gray’s Enterprise of the Year award is added to a string of other accolades: it was the first security company to be awarded ISO 9001/2 status, and judged one of the 49 best companies to work for in South Africa. Its NOSA Five Star grading for work environment safety was another first for a security company. Gray also recently obtained an ACSA (Airports Company of South Africa) licence to operate within South Africa airports.
“The highly competitive security industry is tough going – nothing substitutes for sheer hard work, “ adds du Toit.
