SerVision’s MVG 400 is a mobile DVR and remote video transmission system that offers on-the-go security and other functionality in a single unit. By offering live video over narrowband (cellular) networks, the MVG enables users to remotely observe what is happening inside their vehicles as incidents occur, allowing them to take immediate preventive action when necessary.
The MVG uses cellular and wireless technologies to stream high-quality live or recorded video from vehicles to remote client devices, including cellphones, PDAs and laptops. In addition to having support for up to four cameras, the MVG offers a built-in GPS so remote users can locate and track vehicles.
While the unit’s anti-shock, vibration-resistant case ensures full reliability on the road, support for a closed-circuit monitor enables drivers to see what is going on in every corner of the vehicle at a glance, without moving from their seats. Bi-directional audio capabilities enable them to speak freely with dispatchers and other personnel. Up to four sensors (inputs) and two activators (outputs) can be connected to the units. A panic button can be connected to one of the sensor connectors, enabling drivers to send SMS alerts to dispatchers and other staff immediately if problems of any sort arise in the vehicle.
