Enhancing the capabilities of the PowerMax Pro, Visonic has developed Powerlink, an addition that is built into the PowerMax Pro Panel or attached via the RS232 port on the PowerMax+. The pre-requisites for the layman are as follows: an ADSL connection with a wireless router, a PowerMax Pro or PowerMax+ Panel, a Powerlink module and the Visonic wireless cameras (maximum of four).
This setup is configured with an easy-to-use CD and delivers an intrusion system that can notify users via e-mail or MMS of alarms and emergencies with actual video verification.
There is no software to download as users use their Web browser. Moreover, for a nominal fee users can have access to their own specific URL.
