Logitech launches security cameras

Logitech has announced availability of its video-security cameras in South Africa.

Sales and marketing manager for Logitech South Africa, Romain du Gardier says, “By harnessing the power of digital video as well as the PC and Internet technology we have made it easier for you to feel peace of mind in your home or at your business.”

The Logitech video-security cameras available are the Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System, the Logitech Outdoor Video Security Master System, the Logitech Indoor Add-On Camera and the Logitech Outdoor Add-On Camera.

It takes three steps to secure your home: Install the Logitech Command Center PC software, connect the USB receiver and plug in your camera. Plus, HomePlug encrypts your video, so it is secure. Once the camera is installed, live video or review-recorded video can be watched. The cameras detect motion and record video directly to your PC’s hard drive for playback and archiving.
