DigiCore Holdings, the fleet management solutions company, recently announced its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2000. Revenue increased fourfold to R173,3m (1999: R43,2m), putting the company on track to meet its R300m annual revenue forecast made in their September 2000 Investor Progress Report.
Operating profit increased reaching R23,7m (1999: R5,8m), and overall, the group's cash position improved by approximately R36m over the past six months.
In addition, the company also announced that it had appointed Dr Nardus Truter as Group Managing Director. Dr Truter will be responsible for the allocation of resources amongst DigiCore's four subsidiaries: DigiCore Fleet Management; DigiCore Technology; DigiCore Electronics and DigiCore International, with a focus on internal dynamics.Furthermore, Ndaba Ntsele has been appointed as an alternate non-executive member of the DigiCore Holdings board.
