Shield acquires Provicom

Shield Electronics, a total integrated security systems company, has recently acquired Provicom Industries.

Provicom is the largest industrial audio manufacturer in South Africa and is situated in Benrose, Johannesburg. Established in 1985 by a team of experienced specialists, it has been able to offer total solutions both nationally and internationally.

Steve van Aswegen, Managing Director of Shield Electronics, says, "The acquisition between the two companies will benefit both the parties. For Shield, it would mean entering a broader market and Provicom will benefit from the Bidvest Group."
