IP cameras and IP video servers are becoming a popular solution for new CCTV systems worldwide. These products allow cameras to be distributed across an existing or new TCP/IP computer network. In order for these streams to be recorded, a PC with IP network video recording software is required. This is where Eagle CCTV's E-NVRS software comes into play. The E-NVRS software is able to decode video streams received from several different makes of IP server or IP camera hardware. Decoded video is then digitised in a common format and recorded to the PC's HDD. E-NVRS turns a PC into a sophisticated CCTV surveillance system.
E-NVRS is available currently in 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 channel versions. Pentaplax operation allows simultaneous playback, live monitoring, recording, backup and remote view. Each PC with E-NVRS software requires a USB dongle.
Each channel is individually programmable with a different frame rate, resolution and schedule. Recording can be activated by motion detection. The advanced motion detection has multi-zone masking, as well as intelligence for preventing false alarms.
