As part of the drive to broaden its product range, Fibre Transmission Systems Africa has added the COE Series 400, a 4-channel FM video transmission system to its product range. This innovative product provides the transmission of four high quality video channels with a further option for a duplex data, audio or contact closure channel over one multimode or single-mode fibre with transmission distances up to 10+ km supported.
The 400 is ideal for applications where several cameras, fixed or mobile, require video and control signal transmission over long distances or in electrically hazardous environments. Data formats are link selectable by the user thus enabling quick and easy configuration in the field saving valuable on-site time.
The data channel features COE's unique AL-BUS anti-lock databus system which prevents system control 'lock-up' commonly experienced if third party product fails. The product is presented in a rugged box for field applications with a full environmental and operational specification. A 19" chassis adapter kit is offered for rack mounting and various power supply options are available.
