Supplying power to remote CCTV cameras requires more than just delivering 13,8 volt to the camera. CCTV cameras are not items one wants to replace frequently because of damage caused by over voltage, surges and currents introduced by lightning or poor performance due to an unstable supply.
Clearline engineers have taken special care in the design of their range of CCTV camera power supplies to ensure reliability and protection against the unwanted elements and ensuring a stable supply with a ripple voltage of less than 100 mV.
Various units are available varying from a single supply, a four-camera supply and an eight-camera supply. For applications where battery backup is required the SP4 model offers two hours at 3 amps. All units incorporate overload, short circuit and thermal protection, as well as differential and common mode surge protection rated at 4 kA.
The PSUs double as power surge protectors and the smallest unit in the range, PS-1 supplies 16 V a.c. for alarm circuits.
