The E-NVRS software is able to decode video streams received from several different makes of IP server or IP camera hardware. Decoded video is then digitised in a common format and recorded to the PC's HDD. E-NVRS turns a PC into a sophisticated CCTV surveillance system.
E-NVRS is available currently in 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 channel versions. Pentaplax operation allows simultaneous playback, live monitoring, recording, backup and remote view. Each PC with E-NVRS software requires a USB dongle. The client application is free-of-charge.
Each channel is individually programmable with a different frame rate, resolution and schedule. Recording can be activated by motion detection. The advanced motion detection has multizone masking, as well as intelligence for preventing false alarms. This prevents activation by wind, trees and lights turning on and off.
Some of the other E-NVRS features include multilevel user management, PC health monitoring and PTZ camera control. The PC health monitoring analyses the PC's health. It will send the owner an e-mail on PC overheating, video loss, camera loss of focus or PC fan failure. Alerts are sent via e-mail, SMS or pre-programmed voice message.
