Due to the dramatic increase in theft and vandalism of CCTV cameras in South Africa over the last year, Inhep Electronics Holdings has announced the introduction of the all new 3-Axis Gimbal Vandal Resistant Dome Camera incorporating a 3,8~9,5mm varifocal lens and true filter day night function using a photocell with adjustable sensitivity. The camera utilises a 1/3" Sony Super HAD High Resolution CCD obtaining 540 colour TV lines and 570 black and white. In addition, the built-in IR LEDs allow for approximately 15 m of IR illumination. Other standard features include flickerless mode, back-light compensation, white balance and manually adjustable DC iris levels. The 3-Axis Gimbal allows for flexible viewing adjustment enabling mounting onto non-horizontal surfaces. The non-grip casing with star bolt fixing, makes tampering of this unit extremely difficult. Manufactured in Korea, the camera is of the highest quality and will be supplied with a 24-month warranty.
