Modular Communications has moved to new offices based five minutes away from the main industrial area of Port Elizabeth and seven minutes from the construction site of the new 2010 World Cup soccer stadium.
Plans are in progress to build two 260 square metre office/warehousing units onto the property at 30 Burt Drive for subletting to companies wishing to extend their national operation into the Eastern Cape in the light of the current upswing in the local economy.
Factors driving the upswing in Port Elizabeth include, the deep water port at Coega, the future Alcan aluminium plant at Coega, the 2010 World Cup soccer stadium, the planned power generating plant at Coega by Escom as well as the general boom in the vehicle local and export markets out of the Eastern Cape.
