Chubb Electronic Security (CES), the armed response division of Chubb Security South Africa, has upgraded its existing fleet of armed response vehicles to offer clients and response officers enhanced technology and greater safety.
During the next 12 months, the company's fleet of existing Toyota Tazz vehicles will be replaced with the new Toyota Yaris and Toyota Corolla; and the technical vehicles will be replaced by the Toyota Avanza.
"Chubb prides itself on being the benchmark for safety in the security industry. We give our response officers (ROs) the best protection so they can better safeguard our clients," says Clive van Ryneveld, managing director, Armed Response, Chubb Security South Africa.
"The cars now have greater safety features including built-in airbags, anti-lock braking system, emergency brake assist system and sturdier bodywork. We have received favourable feedback on the new cars from clients and the general public."
In addition to the new vehicles, CES also upgraded its programs on which its software platforms run, enhancing vehicle tracking systems and vehicle dispatching solutions.
