Terry Scallan, a governor of the South African Institute of Security and the current secretary of the Security Standard Generating Body has been invited by SASSETA to serve on the SASSETA/PSIRA MOU Task Team.
The Task Team was formed in 2006. In terms of the MOU, SASSETA will assume the quality assurance of all training conducted within the security industry. The Task Team is also concerned with the alignment of the PSIRA grades to the SASSETA skills programmes that are made up of various SAQA registered unit standards.
