Uniclox Technologies has introduced UniGuard, a guard control system that can be utilised by security guards and guard supervisors to cross-monitor the activities of each user. The UniGuard system has fixed checkpoint locations activated by a recording chip contained in a water-resistant, shockproof rubber housing.
The function of the UniGuard is to scan RFID tags and store the tag's ID-codes in a journal memory together with the date/time stamp. The reader stores 8000 records at any given time and can be backed-up and archived. Data is downloaded from the reader and reports are viewed in sequence. The system is expandable allowing users to add additional features and stations, as required.
UniGuard consists of a reader, a data cable, guard tag, control tom, software, installation set - and vitally important, a charge unit. This ensures that the UniGuard is rechargeable by radio frequency (RF) and has a serial connection with RF.
