US-based RFID manufacturer, Escort Memory Systems, is introducing the T-series of passive mobile database carriers that offer exceptional memory capacity in a rugged and economical package.
The tag's design allows for flexible installations in industrial environments: the tags operate effectively when mounted on metal brackets, a breakthrough in RFID technology.
The rugged tag package is ideal for harsh conditions, where auto-identification of re-usable totes, pallets, or other product carriers is essential to achieving realtime process information flow for manufacturing.
The tags do not need batteries and their memory supports 10 billion write cycles and unlimited read cycles. Depending on the reader used, the read range is between 50 and 200 mm.
The tags are available locally from Harmonic.
